Kyshtym machine-building factory was founded 1757 by Nikita Demidov and is now one of a few Russian manufacturers of mining and drilling equipment, as well as large diameter valves.

The plant has a complicated production line, including over 30 off-the-shelf machine brands and over 200 items of spare parts. The factory supplies equipment to the country's most important enterprises and building sites, counting more than 700 customers. All factory products meet the modern requirements of national and international mechanical engineering industry. The factory produces machines for both stripping and closed mining operations.

The company launches products for the domestic market as well as for export. Foreign companies dealing with "Kyshtym machine-building factory" prefers our equipment and tools because of their reliability and simplicity, which eliminate the additional maintenance costs. All ore plants in Russia are equipped with our machinery. It is also used for building of hydraulic constructions and production of mineral resources.

Scraper loading hoists are deployed at the plants in Vietnam, Slovakia, Poland, India, Ukrain and Uzbekistan. Drilling tools have been being acquired in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Electric locomotives are in use in Uzbekistan.

The SBU-100GA-50 rig is intended for hammer drilling of vertical wells and down holes in open-cast mining and construction facilities in formations of f=6..20 hardness coefficient according to the Protodyakonov scale.

The 2SBU-10032M hammer drill rig is designed for operations in hard-to-reach areas, in complex mining-geological environments and closed working places, for stripping and building facilities. This rig allows solving problems of basement strengthening, thus giving a possibility to restore buildings and constructions and keep them available for further use. Due to its small-scale dimensions and ease of maintenance, the rig can be used in building cellars.

The SSH-130 drill rig is intended for cutting head rotary drilling in formations of 2..6 hardness coefficient according to Protodjyakonov scale for open-cast operations. The auger-drill allows for a hole clean-out. The main application of the rig is building operations in housing estates without use of noisy compressor equipment. It is widely used for basement strengthening of residential buildings in Moscow.

The factory provides with service support for its equipment and supply of spare parts during operating life. High performance characteristics, together with stable quality and reliability of products, progressive technology and the perfect constructions build the production strategy of the enterprise.

The K-110, KNSH-100A, KNSh-125, K-130, K-155, K-160 drilling bits are used for rock breaking while down-hole hammer shotholes drilling.

The P110R-2,8, P110A-3,2, P130R-4,0, P130A-4,5 downhole pneumatic hammers represent percussive mechanism with a valveless air distribution, which guarantees high reliability and efficiency in operation, as well as simple maintenance.

Bars, scraper loading hoists (double- and triple-drum, parallel). Auxiliary mine hoists, hand-operated hoists. Hoisting pulleys SHK-1.6, SHK-2.0, SHK-2.5, SHK-3. Underground drilling rigs NKR-100MA, NKR-100MPA, NKR-100MPAG.

The ZKRA-600 mining contact electric locomotives are used for transportation of mine cars in the mine courses.

Spare parts for mining equipment. Steel carbonic castings, stainless castings, cast-iron and non-ferrous castings.

The plant makes a great effort to find new customers and extend the export. To achieve these goals, we took part in the following events:

Exhibition and conference "New Technologies", Yakutsk.
"Expo-Ugol" ("Expo-Coal"), Kemerovo. The purpose of this exhibition was to assist Russian companies in establishing of business contacts with domestic consumers from Far East, where Japanese and Chinese companies are currently dominating.
International mining fare in the Republic of South Africa, Johannesburg, with over 500 firms participating, which are specialized in machine-building for ore-mining operations. As a result, some business contacts were established in this region.
"Russian manufacturer 2000", St.-Petersburg, where Kyshtym machine-building factory was granted with a certificate and the "Russian Manufacturer" Large Silver Medal.

The factory not only produces marketable and high profitable goods but also has advantageous geographical location, developed infrastructure, stable energy supply system, and production facilities available. We preserved the most essential experience in building of mining machinery and production collective. For the very first time since the plant was founded, it breaks into various segments of the international market. The established contracts for foreign deliveries cover 50% of the production range.

The good rate of quality, reliability and reasonable price keeps the high demand for the products. Technical performance is being constantly improved and meets the requirements of national and international standards.

The air hammer P-110A-3,2 with improved technical performance is coming soon. The increase of impact power allows enhancing the hammer withstandability by 30% while decreasing its weight by 2 kg. Due to reduction of linear dimensions, the new hammer will be more compact and convenient in operation.

The modernization of a 2SBU-100-32P drilling rig was completed on the factory. Replacement of a motor drive with pneumatic circuit allows improvement of technical performance and optimization of energy-saving mode.

Alteration of a drive construction on the SHVA 1800x0,25P auxiliary mine hoist helps to increase hoist capacity by 10-15%.

The technology used for manufacturing of a KNSH-100P drilling bit is being modified, so that the product endurance is raised by 50%.

Beside the construction alterations, mentioned above, the enterprise invests a lot to improve technology of machine-building using modern materials and tools.
